VLC media player
You would hardly find anyone watching movies without VLC player. VLC  is a free and open source media player that plays almost all kind of file types along with CD, DVD, etc. The handling is as easy as any other media player and VLC is available for all platforms, be it Windows or Linux. 
VLC is managed by non profit organisation VideoLAN and is lead and composed by a number of volunteers and developers all around the world. VideoLAN believed in the power of Open Source for multimedia.

Knoppix is a operating system based on Linux runtime which directly run from the CD/DVD or USB flash drive this is one of its own kind.While loading knoppix is run through removable media and compressed into ram and on-the-fly.Although its run directly from CD it can also installed on a computer hard disk as a typical operating system   It doesn't support multi-language, it support only English and German.

openSUSE.



The openSUSE is build on Linux Kernel 3.4. Its surely as competent as Ubuntu in graphical perspective. Its mainly designed to provide an ease to the users. OpenSUSE has multiple desktops, has a wide range of hardware support and as any other Linux distributions, its free and open source. It is managed and sponsored by SUSE and a few other companies. The current stable version is openSUSE 12.2. 
The openSUSE is as stable as any other Linux Distributions. It has been designed keeping in mind both the beginners and professional users. Its just great for everybody. It is bundled with over 1000 application software to handle almost all day to day working needs of an average user.
